I am very curious as to knowing the following temperatures;

Good Temperature | Average?

Decent Temperature ?

Bad Temperature | Too High?

depends on your system. i see one of your machines is a p4 (i have never owned one) but iirc, they run much hotter than other cpu's. my experience across amd64/x2/c2d shows around 30c idle and 60c load is usually good. but within 5 or 10c of these is ok too. its not like of you run loaded at 65 or so for a while your cpu will die.

I believe the ideal temp for everything is around 21c, with proper fan cooling you prevent temps going higher than 10-13C above 21c everything will last forever, or till something else break them.

Somewhere in the low 30's is usually a good temp

High 30's is average (low 40's maybe)

High 40's to low 50's is pretty high

Mid 50's and 60's is too high

That's what I'd say on newer CPU's (90nm).

What temperatures are we talking about here?
I assume that you're referring to CPU temperatures, but you haven't been very clear. In this case, it depends on the CPU.

Temperatures for Motherboards. Sorry, thought I mentioned it. Thanks Mansize...

Aha, thank you; are you referring to northbridge temperatures, in particular?

No, just general motherboard temperatures.

Like, I have Everest Ultimate edition, and the temperature that it reads. So whatever sensor that is reading, is what I am referring to.

the temperature that your sensor is reading is your northbridge !

Hmm, I didn't know that. Thank you again Leslie! :=)

Well, what is a good temperature, average temperature and too high of a temperature?
