Hey guys, I was curious if the following back-plate will work with the stock cooler on a XFX 6870?

We haven't tested it but according to the EK configurator at http://www.coolingconfigurator.com EK has tested that to work with models HD-687A-ZNFC and HD-687A-ZNBC but according to http://www.ekwaterblocks.com/shop/blocks/vga-blocks/fc-backplates/ek-fc6870-backplate-black.html it will only work with their waterblocks. If you are thinking of adding it to the card with the reference cooler then it may not work.
