Question about Raid Controllers

I have run into a problem that I am sure many others have too, I recently bought a 9800GTX for my system. Turns out that the behemoth of a card blocks 2 of my 4 SATA ports. So my question is this, can I buy a RAID card and use it to add my SATA hard drives? I do not want to create any RAID arrays, just simply have windows see my extra separate hard drives connected to the RAID card. I had this card in mind:

Yes, JBOD in the specs stands for Just a Bunch of Disks and is the "RAID" setting you will want to use.

agreed, if you not gonna build raid arrays that highpoint card is overkill. Just grab any 4 port sata controller. Something for ~$30 will do the job just fine
