i know you can fit a bix II on the bottom of the case running the DD stacker shroud ..
or you could mount it up front .. here is my question about it ..

if you put a bix II up front .. then you only have room for 1 hd cage .. and an optical drive ..
no space for a fan controller .. or am i missing something

The front of the stacker can fit the BIXII, the 3 in 4 HDD cage and 2 more 5.25 sized devices.

Then you are packed!

yeah which leads to no fan controller ..

bix II --- hd cage -- optical drve --- that stupid I/O front panel with the power button .. equals no fan controller

I had my RAD up front (1977 Bonneville core) and had room for two opticals, fan controller and the power panel. That's it. I'm rebuilding now and will be putting the rad on the bottom of the case to reclaim some bay space. I'll have just enough room down there to put my tv tuner card in the next to last PCI slot on the DFI Expert. I plan on taping a dryer sheet on the underside of the case where that grill is, and changing it maybe once a month. Hopefully I won't see a big increase in temps going from the front drive bays to the bottom. Overall temps, not case temps. Case temps are a non-issue in the Stacker. My loop will be pump>rad>cpu>gpu>t-line>pump

PSU is sleeved UV, Pentosin antifreeze on the way. Should look nice (I hope).

If it were me, id just put it on bottom.

cant fit it on the bottom unless i switch to the original stacker and sell my 810

I took the 2 to 3 bay HD Cage out and set it on the bottem of the case behind the radiator which is in front of the case. I used some industrial strength velcro to keep it in place, I have plenty of room up front, especialy since I'm going to install the floppy inside the HD bay also.

I have a worklog here but don't show the HD in place just yet.

Crammed a 120x3 in a CM stacker. No room for more than the i/o panel, one HD and the DVD. Also managed to fit a fan controller at the bottom in front of the rad with a "custom" (read ghetto) 90 degree molex.

so a thermochill pa120.2 should be easy to fit in there with a hd cage - optical drive .. i/o and the fan controller ?

You might be able to pull it off, but you'll have to place the fan controller in front of the rad.

Theres plenty of room for the rad to be placed even farther back than I have this one, allowing more room for a fan controller. Unless you plan on having fans on both sides of the rad (which has questionable merits).
