Question about ATI 9500s

Hey guys, what is a better card?
A 9500 pro @ 128-bit, 8 pipelines or
a 9500np @ 256-bit, 4 pipelines? (cannot be modded)

Basically, the question is 8pipelines @ 128bit vs 4pipelines @ 256bit. Thanks

either card is good. I had the 9500 pro for 2+ years and it served me well, and still does in my htpc.
 
I'll take the Pro. I could still play BF2 with all settings on medium on 800 X 600, almost 4 years after I got it. Best 200 bucks I ever spent. The guy that got it from me is still racking up points in BF 2. Says it plays great, but his card he replaced was a PCI 9250. :D

all a matter of reference, ya know....
 
Heh. I picked the 9500np. I'll see how it does after it arrives :D

*scratches head*.... The 9500Pro came out in November of 2002.... Try nearly 3 years?

I'd take the Pro over the non-pro without even thinking.
