replaced e1200 with a q9550
I have a darknight and applied mx2 via drop in the middle. I used enought beleive me I know just how much to use. Ive applied at least 30 cores and on average idle temp for all lowend proccesors was around 19-21c room temp idle. low 30's load.

With my e1200 i was 21c idle 34c load maxed for hours

I installed a q9550 and with all on 0 load cores in order were 23,29,38,38...c Farehiet 81,92,100,100.... a 20 degree diffrence and the las two cores do not move no matter what i do down are up...... WTF.....

The temp sensing diode gets "stuck" at lower temps. The load temps matter more then idle.

well they weren't working at first now they are working once you go over 100f 38c with intel burn test so.... is there a chance they could also get unstuck in the down direction after burnin?
