I am planning to get an Intel Q6600 and was wondering which mobo would be the best (both price and performance-wise).
I will not be OC'ing it and even if I do feel the need for that maybe just a bit. :)
I would also not be getting a graphics or a sound card for the time being (budget constraints :() but maybe after a month or two. So acceptable onboard graphics and sound would be required for some time.

Given this which would be a good choice for a mobo?
TIA

you didn't list a price range, but this would be a nice one:

or it's big brother:

I have this one, but haven't gotten around to setting it up in a SFF case. Search around though and you'll hear pretty good things about it

Good luck

Thanks for all the suggestions. Am looking at them right now.
I was looking for something within US$ 100 to 110.

Any of these should be good... and they can OC nicely, too:

$135 - Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R LGA 775 Intel G33 Micro ATX
$120 - Asus P5K-VM LGA 775 Intel G33 Micro ATX
$93 - Msi G33M-FI LGA 775 Intel G33 Micro ATX

So does anyone here have this (Intel Q6600 and the GB mobot) combo?
If so how do you find performance and feature-wise?

eVGA is planning to release 7000 series boards which incorporate built-in video equievelent to 7-series gfx cards. One of the boards even has a built in HDMI port making it perfect for a HTPC.

MSRP on the top board is something like $130. Street prices should be much less.

abit has 2 mobos coming with the MCP73 & I'm sure that Asus, Gigabyte, MSI etc. have some coming too.
