This is insane voltage for a 1.1V chip.
Their counter is scheduled 12 to 18 months away with bulldozer.

1.7v for a 1.1v chip is is really high! i didn't see that first.
5.1Ghz for a 3.06 part is really high too. Even though he says he has it on vapor I don't think this is a 7x24 stable config.
It is impressive though! Proves the 32nm hex cores will have lots of headroom. If he can do this in an extreme setup we should be able to see 4.5Ghz 7x24 stable on air.

On the EVGA the RAM is running much higher, my guess would be that the gigabyte for graphics, evga for extreme memory.
This is [H]ardforum not toms hardware.
Looking at most peoples sigs, not very many [H]ard here.....
What's considered [H]ard? lol
I don't consider what is a basically effortless 4.0 OC on my setup to be very [H]ard.

I have seen people claiming up to 4,5 GHz with 1,35V on air cooling is possible and that 4.0 on air should be easy.
