My girlfriend had been playing on an older Acer laptop for a while, and I was watching it struggle with FFXIV lately. With the tariffs on PC components about to kick in, and her birthday coming up, I put together an early present for her last night. I built the PC, she picked up the monitor to go with it. Treat yo'self.

This is my first AMD build since 2006. So far, very pleased with the Ryzen 7. No issues on the build or install side other than it doesn't want to go >2933MHz on the RAM on Auto BIOS settings. Will play around it with later.

Definitely thumbs up on AMD's overall ecosystem with the new Ryzen 2 chips!

make sure the bios is right up to date and then manually set the timings and voltage for the ram. it should do 3200.
