I just recently set up a server 2k3 domain in my home. I used to work as a help desk tech and our machines had access to the administrative tools just like you would see on the server. How can I push this down to my machine?

That way I don't have to log into my server any time I want to do anything.

Check your server for the installer...

\\servername\c$\windows\system32\adminpak.msi

and install that file.

You should be able to run it from the server.
Or you can just download the 2003 admin tools w/sp1 from Microsoft

You 2 last guys are crazy characters!!!

I haven't figured that out yet! lol :(

This is my first deployment of a domain controller

To get to the Group Polices though...you need to download the Group Policy Editor from Microsofts website. From there you can deploy, create, view GP's.

Yea, I downloaded the GPMC a few days ago, but I have yet to play with it. Fiance was sick all weekend so I barely got anything done.
