Purple , green round dots ???

I have a question if any of you know what this is. I play BFBC2 and sometimes ( rare ) these purple or green dots will flash on the screen. They pop on really fast so fast I can't explain it but my eye sees them. They are about the size of a quarter perhaps even a nickle in diameter. Is this my video card on the brink or something else? It does not effect game play in anyway. Or is this just the game itself? :confused:
 
back off the acid for a few days, report back with any improvement next week ;)
 
Bingo H-Street, talk about hitting the nail on the head. Yep that was purple one in the video link you gave. But I did see a green one now and then. It might only happen in BFBC2, I would have to try some other games and see if it does it in them. I thought maybe my video card was failing somehow.
 
i suspect its a game issue and something specific with how it is processing the assets. when looking at the video its strange ithappens at a specific point. and you dont' see more than 1.

Never know though, it might be an error in the GPU processing..
