PSU Req. for GTX 285 SLI

What PSU should I get to run 285's in SLI?

Thats quite an open ended question. What are your FULL system specs going to be and will you overclock?

I would suggest looking at the 1000HX from corsair for sure.

Currently I am thinking about getting a Core i7 [email protected], 12GB DDR3 1600+ Ram. I have X-Fi Fatality and 2 HDDs (seagate 500gb 32mb, seagate 1tb 32mb). Also I have 6 120MM fans.

Thanx..Ive never had a system crash due to the power supply..I really dont think a 1kw PS is needed..As long as you buy from a reputable company,750-850 will suffice..Good Luck!

That's what I think. The only way you would need 1KW is for SLI 295 GTX the way I see it or may be 3 way SLI 285GTX. Right now I have 650W Mushkin and 650W BFG. I will check out my options on the PSU. Thank you good sir for keeping me up to date.
