Hi everyone, long time no posts!

Just looking at the SeaSonic 660W XP2 as a PSU for below system. Want comfortable room for OCing the GPU.

i5 4690k plan to OC to around 4.3/4.4
Asus Z97-A
8GB RAM @ 2166
R9 290
1SSD
2HDD
4 x 120mm fans.

Sure the 660W XP2 is shown to be a very good PSU, but wondering if I should go a bit higher, given the R9 290 can is a pretty power hungry card?

Thanks in advance )

You'd be fine. I would not crossfire a second card and overclock on that psu though.

For a single R9 290, that Seasonic PSU is more than enough power. But I do agree with Rav3n that you should be looking at a larger PSU, Seasonic 850W or so, if you want to do Crossfire.

Thanks guys, just spotted this Coolermaster Vanguard 850W for ~£110 with shipping. Seems damn good as it's around £140 everywhere else, so will weight it up between these two.
