I am looking for a PSU to run a P4 rig for now but want something that will be able to run something newer in the near future. I am not going to need a ton of power as this computer is going to be for my daughter and there is no need of high-end high-power components for her to play web games and simple childrens games. The computer now (and future rig) will not be overclocked for stability reasons and there is only 1 hard drive and 1 optical drive. I am looking for something that is somewhat low priced (under $100 or PREFER under $75) yet is of good quality and is efficient. Here is what I have found so far:

Antec earthwatts EA430 430W
CORSAIR CMPSU-400CX 400W

I really like the Corsair for the black case (her computer is black and purple) but if the Antec is better then I would have no problem going with that one. Either of these better than the other?

Thanks,
J

I would take the corsair over the antec anyday

corsair power supplies are seasonic rebrands :D

Well right now the 400CX is $20 cheaper than the EA430 ($10 less and then a $10 MIR).

Is there anything else that could possibly be suggested?
