Well I used SLI Zone for 'recommended' PSU's and it bit me.

Xigmatek 1000w PSU died. Computer shut down while in game and now just pops on for 1-2 seconds and shuts off a gain.

Hardware
I7 920
EVGA GTX260 - Two of them in SLI
Gigabyte UD5 Mobo
Gskill - 3 sticks of 2gb ram in triplechannel
WD 500GB HDD
WD 640GB HDD
DDC Liang Water Pump 12V
Nine 120m Fans - 7 are for radiators - all of them are Yate Loon Low Speed Fans
Fans are on a sunbeam fan controller 0-12V control x4

I was looking at the antec 1000 but a lot of reviews showing DOA or Dead after 1-2 months. Also looked at the corsair 1000 but a lot of complaints about overheating and noise.

I know 1000w is probably a little overkill but I am overclocking the CPU and GPUs.

What do you recommend?

If you want to replace your current PSU with a 1000W model, then the Corsair HX1000 and Enermax Revolution85+ 1050W would be my top two recommendations. The Corsair because of its price, and the Enermax due to its quality. And I haven't heard of any widespread issues with the Corsair with regard to excessive heat or noise.

If it is still under warranty...I recommend you RMA it. I also recommend that you take all user generated reviews with a grain of salt.

If you are not under warranty, or just have to buy a new PSU...you can also add the EX-1200 to the Zero82z's list

I agree. Enermax 1050W or Corsair HX1000 are both excellent quality power supplies.

I concur with PC_User, HOOfan_1 and Zero82z: Corsair 1000HX, Enermax 1050W or BFG EX-1200
