PSN Classics

I was wondering if the PSN classics were altered in anyway from the originals? I'm thinking about reliving my grandia moments

I don't believe so, I've got a few and haven't seen any that were ported with higher res, etc.

And the bigger the Tv you have the worse it is

I've been playing my old school PSOne games like FF VII, and RE1 and 2, on a 50" TV. The graphics are pretty bad blown up, but probably not as bad as you would expect. Some games I have are exceedingly awful (Croc was one of them).

I've been playing FF tactics and it's been exactly the same as the original.

I've been playing FF8 on my PSP, so far it's been as good as I remember it.

Picked up mortal kombat not too long ago...enjoy playing it online but its nothing spectacular.

hmmm still deciding.. my tv is a 32" so not sure if it'll look decent.

Its a fucking PSOne game of course its not going to look decent on anything other then a CRT television with big ol' scanlines. That being said I bought FF7, FF8, Suikoden, and Wild Arms of PSN and play them just fine on my 42" LCD because I was born before the 1990s.

I guess it depends on your quality requirements but Mortal Kombat looks like Mortal Kombat on my 52". Not as great as it was on a CRT but then again its a very old game so I could care less.
