So I just hooked up my PS3 to my new 24" samsung monitor and I'm getting beautiful 1080p picture quality. But of course, there is no sound because there are no speakers on monitors. Is there an adapter I can buy that links the White/Red audio output cable (that originally comes with the PS3) and the light green audio input cable that my computer sound system uses? If this exists what is it called so I can find it?

thats great but i need a female 3.5mm on the end that i can put my speakers into...i cant find it anywhere...not even a seperate 3.5mm f/f that i can put on the end of a femaleRCA/male3.5mm

Note about spaceman's first link: Do not use that adapter directly into your speakers or into a motherboard/sound card, etc. It will put way too much pressure on the connector and make it likely to break.

It's fine for in-line use only.

Yeah just plug the ps3 rca into the first and then use the coupler to attach to your speakers 3.5 male jack. Easy enough when you have done it before. Tough fix if you have never done it though.
