Man I am simply in awe!!! You have done a wonderful job! Do you live in the DRC all the time, or are you there for a work/other purpose? Any chance you can snap a picture of the final build from the same angle as the picture above in 1080P? I wanna use it as my desktop

Thanks! I'm just here for work. I leave in a few weeks I will be going to a friends house who has a little studio and a nice Canon camera. Final pictures will be full res.

Thanks to everyone that voted! I'm sorry there hasn't been an update lately. The hurricane really messed up our mail here but I finally got my gears last night. I'm started painting them right away but that will be in my next big update in the next day or 2.

I also got myself a Caselabs case for a project next year. M8 + Pedestal

Here it is. The final build update.

All the gears neatly packed by Thomas.

I got quite a few.

Took me about an hour to peel off all the paper from the MDF... fingers were killing me.

Once that was done I painted them all gold and started putting them on.

This thing looks amazing. I was kinda worried when I saw all the rust. I wondered "where is the contrast?" But it all came out beautiful. Can't wait to see it finished.
