I'm a bit tired from all this work so... I'll write more stuff tomorow. It's very difficult to get a "real" heatsink in these things so I decided to give a whirl and try to get a good heatsink in there. I will break the project up in 3 parts... here is what is done from part one so far.

I messed up my DVD burner trying to mod it so I'm waitng on new one.

 
why not make a duct of some kind to use the rear 120 as the CPU fan and exaust... so you only have 1 120 in there...
 
Wouldn't removing that cross brace take almost all the strength out of the Q-Pack? You might want to figure out a way to support it at that same angle without the crosspiece, or you may run into problems.
 
For now there is a metal bar holding it. When I have more time I'll put something nicer.

Even thought the SI fits there, I'm planning on putting an XP there. Much more room and it fits nicely.

I have a bit more to go...

What a mess is there... time to clean up.
