Places where to get UV supplies?

Live in NYC. Where to get UV paint or preferably spray. Online or store doesn't matter.

how abouta link to said paiint? searchiung UV, UV paint, paint all brings up some dumbass cases

I see what you mean. Not a good search engine they have.

Hardware stores may have them. Just difficult in finding places.

I've used the paint sold from Xoxide, it's good stuff. But make sure you go get your self a can of clear-coat to make it stay on as non-enamels tend to ware off easier.

It's hard to find, especially blue which is what I want, and the few places that carry it are so pricey and limited selection.

they ever instock on anything?

ill have to look and see if they have yellow UV markers or paint markers, only have small bits to cover
Yeah, I have no idea what's up with them lately. They used to have all their UV paint selection in stock all the time. Hope they get them in soon.....

Very few have in stock. I even went to hardware stores and no one carries.

Found a few places that I'll list later but no one has blue spray.

Found some blue paint but for an ounce that want like $8-10 including shipping... that's crazy.

frozen cpu UV spray paint selection $14 a can

perfomance pc's uv blue acrylic paint -- not spray paint :(

performance pc spray paint selection -- 12.95 a can. blue sold out :p

found the blue!

official clearneon site with all colors minus blue

I am interested in this stuff -- seem's really rad. Never used it before, but I remember looking into it about a half a year ago. You can just spray down your entire motherboard and all the components with this crap? Do you even need to tape off connectors or anything?

1. You can, but it'll void your warranty/warranties. Sealer is probably not recommended when doing so.

2. YES!

I'm thinking of wires and the AC heatsink. Then if you want it permanent u put clear coat on it.

I'd be careful on certain parts... If you put on heatsink would you lose it's ability to cool?

NYC is the graffiti capital of the universe, I'd find it hard to believe you couldn't find it a shop that caters to graffiti heads...

i think its illegal to posess spray cans at a certain age there actually, and you wouldnt exactly want to walk home with a bag of aerosol cans

Spray paint is a cinch in NY! LOL

However UV paint is very different... I don't exactly live that close to the places that usually cater to graffitti heads.

Not a bad idea though...

I haven't been to Bklyn or Bx in a looong time.

if your looking for real paint, try Spencers, i got a 6 pack for $10 has 6(duh) 2oz bottles ornage, pink, yellow, purple, green and blue :)

2 oz. arosol spray? Because that is what the OP is looking for I believe. Not brush-on liquid.

Anyway, if you payed $10 for a 6-pack of colors you got ripped off too as those can be had for $3 - $4, sorry.

Here it is for $2.51 - http://www.misterart.com/store/view/001/group_id/8457/SARGENT-ART-Fluorescent-Poster-Paints.htm

Please keep in mind these are the exact same set of UV reactive paints that I use for
PC case modding. Bought at local hobby/craft shop for $3 (+tax).

MMMmm i love UV Spraypaint. Still have the same bottle of purple from a few years ago, still works great. Hope you find what youre lookin for.

Home Depot has flourescent...

UV is still hard to find... the things that's killer is the shipping on these things.

Also changed my mind... going with the orange... Cheapest including shipping was xoxide.

Both Flourescent and UV paint will glow in "black light". Pretty much the same thing.

I bought the clearneon orange....
2 coat sprays and nada.... :(

I think it may need 3 - 4 minimum.... dang... almost finished though. Not ordering a 2nd bottle.

The flourescent prange does look nice though. The dimm slots and pci seem to glow on the 939 tforce matx.
