Project Oracle

I really like that actually. It kinda points to the possibility of blue leds in the feet of the unit and I think the white would make this unit scream really :)

What program did you use to make that?

Sketchup + 3DSmax for the rendering.

And it should be noted that I'm not planning on painting it white, I'm going to stick to the original plan and go straight black. I'm just not good enough with 3DSmax yet to play with colors haha.

And did I mention it shrank to 14 inches? And wont have any exposed wiring? Or tubing? ;)

submersion cooling? high-energy water-suspension fields? please don't tell me you're going air-cooled :'(

Oh no, there will be water. If it works out like I'm planning, the only tubing you'll see will be running to the waterblocks from *asecretplacethatIwonttellyouguysaboutyet* but even that should be pretty well hidden. I've always wanted to go smaller with this case, but couldn't get it all to fit right until recently. Since you've been so supportive, I'd be willing to give you a sneak peak at the interior if you wanted :D

This will be the last redesign Oracle goes through, if I can't work this out the project will be permanently shelved. It's the sort of project that I don't have a deadline for, so I can keep fiddling with it until it works out the way it does in my head.

Also, don't expect many updates in here, I think I'm going to start doing month to month updates, not every time I do work (think like the way Bit-tech did Orac3). I know I know, if you want more frequent updates go check out Anima Mundi (which will be updated this weekend). Real work on the new model will start next week when I have time to order the new panels.

Got the processor today by the way, thanks!
