programmable LED fans

I'm was thinking about trying to display some itunes info - like song name - dynamically onto it. Perhaps finding a way to trigger the update via Itunes when a song changes.

I've heard ppl have problems with them. Some complain about the quality of the fans and that they don't last long. Others mention that if the fan isn't spinning at the right RPM all the time, the LEDs don't sync properly and it just looks like a mess.

If you can get it cheap though, go for it and let us know.
