    Hi guys,

I'm looking for some advice on how to limit my wifi broadband speeds at certain times of the day. Is there a program which I can install which would set wifi bandwidth to throttle during a set time period like 2pm to 7pm in the afternoon?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Go into your router. Most modern wifi routers have speed limit scheduling if I am not mistaken. There are also external software solutions as well I think.

I'm not in a situation where I would need that so I've not investigated it much but I've seen that capability many times over just browsing through.

Once you find it I'm sure it's easy enough to setup.

I’ve always found if you use Comcast they will throttle for you during those times, free of charge.

    Lol

But on a serious note yes check your modem/ router If you have Comcast mine has a option to limit bandwidth and times of use. I let my neighbor use my connection for a small fee (though I do have business class.) I'm relatively certain the modem/router are the same as the residential versions from what I've seen

Fortigate 60D's are smaller, easier to setup and use and do this well.
