Ya the new crystaldisk comes with opencandy and I saw some people saying it is a virus.
Is there any other program?

Just use the portable. I don't know why people use installers anymore on programs like these.

Edit: They have two installers, one with and without OpenCandy.

Not to steal your thread or anything but is there a good program for Linux to check SSD health?

Just check the SMART attributes with smartctl. I usually use these options:

Code:
# smartctl -i -A -f brief /dev/sd_

Anyone having a problem with 5.0.4 not recognizing the SSD? It gives me all the info on my HDD drives just fine.

Your OCZ Vertex4 SSD is fine. It has 0 bad sectors and 100% life left in it and you only used it for 54 hours and power cycled it 26 times.. BTW, All of this info is in the RAW values.

Having same issues as 10pmStalker
Any way to make it show every thing?

Your SSD may only have those few attributes in the SMART so CrystalDiskInfo is probably displaying everything it can.

Thanks drescherjm. Weird why it wont read the temp though. AIDA64 gets a reading of 41C I just wanted to see if that was accurate.
