I had an unexpected surprise tonight (what other kind is there?). We were out playing soccer, about eight of us, including one of my brothers. At some point, the two of us collided, and I now have a broken leg. w00t! My first broken bone, and I'm 24.

So how does this affect my production this weekend? Well, my work laptop will now be folding all day tomorrow when it normally doesn't. But since I'm home, and useless around the house (my leg isn't cast yet, and I have to keep the weight off it), I'll probably be playing a little more UT2004 on my .sig machine.

The great part is that now we get to come up with a creative way to tell my parents that "my brother's picking on me!"...

I remember my first broken bone......it was a leg also (tibia and fibula). Many more followed though. Enjoy :D

I want a broken bone :( Rogue_jedi, you doing anything this weekend?

No bones broken in 19 years. Had some interesting cuts and stuff, but never managed to break anything. Knock wood

You got to keep that leg elevated as well. So no computer for you. How bad was the break? Broke my arm playing soccer, damn ref called a handball too. D'OH! Best wishes on a speedy recovery.

Get your wife and/or girlfriend to distract you from playing UT2004.;)

Problem solved. Good for everyone. :D

I have broken several fingers playing football over the years...nothing more serious than that. I am the one usually breaking the bones of others...

Well, bring it on! I've had many try and only one person has ever been able to break a bone. I had to block a bat someone swung at me once (dumbshit was lucky I didn't kill him) and I did it with my hand which caused a broken knuckle. I didn't let that stop me. I just bought a splint at the store and used that for a couple of days until I couldn't stand it anymore and just taped it up. I was playing baseball and stuff the next day. Sure, it hurt like hell when I caught the ball in the glove and my grip on the bat when batting looked funny, but I didn't care.
