Problems with downclocking with MSI afterburner with crossfire setup

I recently bought a second 5850 (reference design) and running happily in crossfire. I'm using MSI Afterburner to overclock the cards (MSI setting to keep same values for similar cards is ticked). Overclocking works fine at 950 core with 1.25v on both cards, but when the cards go back to idle mode (i.e. when I quit a game), both cards get downclocked to 157Mhz which is a problem. I'm running 3 monitors (no eyeinfinity) and need the one card (with monitors attached) to only be downclocked to 400mhz so that I don't get flicker on my monitors.

Anyone know how I can prevent both cards being downclocked to 157Mhz?

Is my only option to use RBE and set both cards to 400mhz as their idle clock rate (please tell me no).

Just change it in the BIOS. It really isn't that hard to do.

Problem solved. Had to disable overclocking in CCC overdrive and now the one card clocks to 400, the other to 157 which is perfect.
