Strange.

I have the same mobo/processor and almost the same video card as you (I have the AIW version). What game is that? and are you Overclocking anything?

wow, i never had that problem with farcry.. is it overheating? point a fan at it.. alrigh i do have the same problems on my AIW Wonder 9700P in GTA: VC

Probably its heating, because I don't have that problem when I'm playing that game.

Could possibly be corrupt game files also....

That happened on my bro's Geforce FX 5200 (bwahahahaha) in KotOR

Is this happening in any other games? It does look like heat/ overclock. I used to get the same thing due to heat. You said you have a fan blowing at it but how? Best way to curb the heat is to have a fan blow across the card so your cooling both sides. Also install some ram sinks on the memory cause the 9700 memory runs damn hot.

heat or memory issue.
had the same problem with 9700pro. mine was giving me artifacts in NFS Underground. missing textures, etc. setting to stock speeds didn't help. had to drop VRAM speed to like 70mhz below stock to get good visuals. wasn't going that in UT2K3, though, so i sold it on ebay. got 9800pro. sell it quick, if it still works in other games.

its really odd, the same thing in VC happened on my old 9500P as well.. i think it must be a game issue or something, or maybe i should try to disable AA/AF.. oops, forgot about that.
