I have an annoying problem, my water cooled radion X1900 is broke, anytime i play a game it overheats immediatly, very irritaing. I cant figure out what is causing this, it has liquid in it, it is very loud now so i am wondering if the pump is broken. anyway it seems bust to me
Problem is my plan was to hold out for the new nvida cards but that means waiting around which is not something i am good at. When i buy a card i usually go for the best one out so i dont need a new one for a long time (the x1900 has served me will for a long time, until now) , i dont stretch to SLI though but will spend around £500.
so i guess what I am asking is in your opinion would getting someting like an Nvidia 8800 Ultra be a stupid upgrade at this point. should i weather the pain of not playing games for a few months and wait?
