I was tidying up my case and cos i have a SFF (fragbox 2 case) i have to take mostly everything out to do this i took out my x850xt and noticed one of the gold fingers was only half there......i soppose its not a real problem becuase it is still making contact????What could have made this happen?? any ideas id like to hear them :) thanks in advanced
 
Can you post a pic so that we have a better conception of what you're talking about?
 
heres the best i can do the blacked out are the missing "GOLD FINGERS" im talking about
 
That's a great picture :). I'm not so sure that some of them come blacked out like that. I'd do some testing to see if you're having stability problems. Seems like some of the gold coating got scraped off.
 
Yeah, probably just got scraped off during installation and removal. If it causes a problem later on, you can always RMA it. I wouldn't worry about it till then.
