Probably the dumbest question: how do you mount a SSD?

I bought an OCZ Agility 3 and an Azza Solano 1000 case. For some reason I cannot figure out how to mount my SSD. I figured I could use the FDD rails but the holes don't line up with the SSD.

The SSD didn't come with hardware, brackets, etc, and my case has harddrive cages. I just... don't know what the hell I'm supposed to do and I feel absolutely retarded -_-

I suppose, but shouldn't at least one of them come with mounting hardware? Kind of stupid if you ask me. I might consider just screwing them in like you said because that sounds like a solid idea.

I've done builds before where I just used hot-glue to stick it to the side of the case.

Most drives do not contain the bracket in the package from my experience. You can buy a bracket for a few bucks, or you can use double sided tape etc. They are light and they do not move much. Unless it was a portable LAN box, I wouldn't worry too much about mounting it.

Do you regularly drive around with your rig in the back of a pickup?

I been 2 years now, it sits contentedly right where I put it, why fasten it down at all?

Apparently I'm just being too gentle because I'm used to dealing with HDD's with moving parts and shit. I guess I don't have to baby a SSD so much since it's basically a big flash drive isn't it?

Thanks man. I wanted one for a while and I remember playing WoW years ago with a guy who worked for intel and was testing SSD's. It's nice to finally own one for my OS (windows 8 pro) and my main game. I said yolo and got a SATA3 2tb drive as well c:

i use double sided tape that i know comes off without leaving a residue. or if theres room i just leave it on the bottom of the case.

EDIT: i can just imagine it right now: you sitting on your computer at the amazon checkout screen and just yelling YOLOOOOOOO when you click the "place order" button. :p

Microcenter actually had a sweet deal in the SSD (70$ final price down from 170 lol) and then I had gotten an email on the way to the store saying that some Seagate drives were on sale too. I was like "100$ for 2tb and it's SATA3? Fuck it, I wanna be fast yoloo" I had more of a Bill O'Reilly vibe at the time though.
