Making up a sales sheet hoping i can get some input just like what u think.. what i should add to it.. just wanted some outside input...

Pro Gamer:
amd FX socket 939 3500
msi k8tneo plat
1gig 2x512 pc3200 cl2 corsair
2x72Gb raptor stripe
x800pro
12x dual layer all mode burning dvd burner
dvd 16x
floppy
tsunami thermaltake case, silver
450w PSU blue led

main purpose.. gaming sell to end user 2578

lol i think you posted in the wrong section but
why would you need a X16 dvd drive if u have the burner in there?

change the graphics to a evga 6800gt, the case to anything but that one omfg something coolermaster or lianli, and the psu to a antec 480watt neopower and youll have yourself a winner.

The case doesn't look to bad but I have found through experience that Thermaltake's customer support sucks. So good luck if you run into any problems with it.

reason for dvd and dvd burner is to allow the computer to burn from DVD to DVD, saves a bunch of time on a 9.2gig dvd..

also the case needs to be under 150 including nice power supply, any suggestions

computer includes xp home if someone is trying to see if my price is good, by the way im not trying to sell it on the forum ;p i've had to much trouble with shipping computers :(

running all that high end stuff you're going to need a very reputable PS (large and stable) the Neopower (i got one) is great for cleaning up the insides.

bump for the truth they never returned my emails and never got my replacement parts here. So yeah its the truth.

Since this is a pro gamer comp, either get the X800 xt pe or 6800ultra. U got the 64 3500+, need a good gfx card to go with it. Either one will be great.

And change the case. TT sux (dont flame). Coolermaster cases are amazing. So are antec and silverstone.

anyone who is buying the computer isnt going to be an overclocker cuz they

A: rich and usually dumb..
B: they dont know how to build a comp and definatly can't overclock
c: just spent all their saved money, dont wanna overclock and void my warranty.

whats the dif in the EVGA and the BFG? i dont pay attention to nvidia cards, is that just the make?

also how big a dif is there with the x800 pro and the XT? clock speed only? or is there a big dif?

also maybe some advice as to which model of these cases...

also antec neo is a very nice PSU i'm gonna add that thanks.. it'll save me cutting the wires and wrappin them all up in the PSU. and its not permanent yay only cost 30 bucks more

i like lian li p-60 5bay 5.25 3bay 3.5 very clean case and shiny little big though, any other suggestions thanks a ton guys

it still scrap the X16 dvd drive i cant see how it would save time since dual layer disks arnt out yet and probably wont be mainstreamed for a long time. i would replace it with a good quality cd burner(plextor premium maybe?)

The XT has 16 pipelines and higher clock/mem speeds. The pro has 12 and lower clock/mem speeds. Also, a pro can be flashed into a XT but it can be risky for the user, if it screws up.

dual layer really isn't worth it anyway, considering the fact that the media is going to be ridiculously expensive. A 16x dvd drive is like 20-25 bucks, saves time when copying dvds because you don't have to rip an iso. Compared to the rest of the parts in your computer, 20-25 dollars really isn't that expensive...

As for a video card, I don't really think an ultra is worth the extra 100 dollars. You can easily overclock Gt's to ultra speeds, if you buy the BFG, they have a lifetime warranty, so even if you fry the thing with too much voltage, they'll send you a new one. If you want only the best though, and are willing to pay the extra 100 then go for the ultra.

You are marketing the model towards pro gamers with the name or,
You are marketing the model towards casual gamers who just want a kickass machine.

You are calling the computer the "Pro Gamer" for one or both of these reasons, right?

If you are trying to sell this to actual pro gamers, or just people who like to LAN, you may want to use a much smaller case. Hauling a big case around to LANs and tourneys is no fun at all, and I speak from experience. You may at the very least want to put case handles on there.

yeah alot of rich people like premodded windows and horrible cabling jobs. This is from my experiance at my local lan with alienware and other bought computers. Also include a fan controller if possible because many of those kids love blue lights for some reason and makes them feel big, dont ask why.

I don't know which Alienware machines you've seen, but they are some of the most well cabled machines. Most of the boutique shops order their ribbons in custom lengths so it's easier to fold them and tuck them away. Voodoo was the company that really brought this to the forefront by training all their assembly techs in Origami. Kinda rediculous if you ask me, but it's true. Most of your shitty cabling jobs come from the likes of EMachines and HP, Dells are actually well cabled just because of their unorthodox case construction on certain models.

The only difference between NVidia cards are usually the cooling solutions used by specific manufacturer, the type of memory in some cases (faster/slower, all should run at it's rated spec tho but faster stuff will OC further, not an issue in this case), and the ports on it.

Frankly, set the system up with the cheapest 6800 GT you can get imo, or the one with the best game bundle. If budget allows for more then the X800 XT or the 6800 Ultra are both fine choices, the 6800 GT outstrips the X800 Pro due to the lower amount of pipelines on the Pro tho.

Nothing particulary wrong with the Tsunami if the system is sold to someone who's not gonna tinker with it... The design may attract people, or it may put off some, depends. The CoolerMaster Praetorian has a more understated design if that's what you want, excellent quality, pretty cheap too; the Wavemaster is the same but with a flashier front bezzel (w/a door, 'tis the one people say the Tsunami ripped off). I think both are smaller than the Tsunami and most Lian Lis.

There's a dozen LianLi models... Depends really, the Silverstone ones are nice too but they're all steel unless you look into the very price TJ03. You could go with an Antec TruePower 480 and still have a very decent PSU, even a 430, the NeoPower may be a bit much for a system you're trying to sell under a specific budget, dunno.
