hey,
how come my private messages all say 6:00PM 6-69-1969 and theres blank titles, is something wrong with the database? I cant check my newest unread or any of my current messages..I couldnt even post this yesterday before the forum went down.
bug?
 
What do you mean fixing stuff? Maybe i just didnt notice :/, are we getting back our pm's? thanks
 
I'm confident they'll be back with the rest of the DB functions...

yeah, its really werid. 1969 for [H] must of been a good year to save the DB...
anywho im positive it will be fixed, messages are a huge function here.
 
It is interesting that out of the few dozen technology forums I frequent, this forum is consistently the only unstable one. I'm not sure if it is the servers, the hosting, or the software but after at least 10 outages I know of have happened, I'd hope that there would be a major change that removed the core cause of the outages?
 
Mine are all blanks as well...I freaked out, but then realized it must a forum database problem thing. Hope we get all the PMs back.

I hope so too.... I had a great deal on a mobo that I wanted and sadly I forgets the guys name now I dont even see the FD thread he posted either....

Ditto.

I don't think I've ever heard of what the problem is. Maybe that's the problem is nobody knows.

The amount of users online shouldn't matter, either. I know a few other forums, not computer related, with higher user counts and concurrent users that don't have issues.
Thus, I'm thinking it might be something with VBull.

But if it's the SQL: Server Clustering FTW.
 
The forums are being worked on as you post, things will be back as they were shortly.
