Printing to new printer from DOS based program

Hey guys im having a real hard time trying to figure out how to print to a new printer (Brother MFC-5895CW) from an old school DOS based accounting program (SNA). I spoke to the people at Brother and they confirmed that this printer isn't compatible with DOS programs, and has no Sequence to link the program to the new printer that's on my network. Now is there any way around this or any third party programs i could use to be able to print to the new machine from the DOS program i mentioned?
Any help would b greatly appreciated.

you might be able to try something like Dosbox. Although, I've never tried it before.

Can you import said document into software that's a little more modern?
