Printers with continuous Ink systems

I am interested in getting one of those continuous ink systems for my inkjet printer, I would like to know if any of you have had any experience with those type of systems, are they good? are those systems really worth it?

I've never heard of them before, but from the looks of it, those reservoirs would never fit in my current all-in-one Lexmark.

well the reservoirs don't have to go inside the printer itself, you just have to put them nearby, like this

I do my fair share of partying and ink running thru little tubes strung across a printer has wayyy to much screw-up potential for me.

I've asked a friend that has one of those systems in his Epson printer, he says that he now saves a lot of cash with this continous ink system.

He says It's cheaper if it's an Epson printer, because the cartridges don't have the head integrated in the cartridge like HP printers, hmm...

I buy cheap cartridges off of ebay, 4 for like $7. How much that ink system cost?

Around here it goes from $30 to $35 bucks for an Epson printer, including ink, for HP and printers that has the inkjet heads integrated in the cartridge it go $120, heck, I think I'm gonna buy myself a new Epson printer and ditch my old HP printer

I'll answer my own question: Yes they are pretty good

I had one for my Epson r380, looked almost exactly like the one in your first post.
That printer died and now I have an Artisan 725, don't have a CIS for this one yet, but as soon as the OEM cartridges are empty that's what I'm getting.

Around here, I can get 1 liter of ink for around $15!!!
