So, I am no longer pumping out WU, for some reason beyond my comprehension, I am not able to upload completed WU's to the server. I have tried this in 3 different locations (all local) and not one has been able to upload information. Comcast says there's no issue on there end (but they never admit fault anyway).

Anyway, at this point ive been sitting on 0 ppd, with over a hundred+ WU's completed but not uploaded.... yay me!



So, there is SOME good news.... I get to upgrade my rig... My sister is going to do her upgrade, but loved my rig so much she wants my rig and will in turn purchase me a new rig....

YAY!

930 here I come!
oh and dual 260's... so im happy ;)


Oh and finally, in other news.... The doctors have no idea what has been causing the major migranes and the now total of 2 aneurysms I have had up to this point. I have another appointment scheduled with them in 2 weeks for another (this is 3 now since my last surgery) MRI.

Hang in there and hopefully the docs will finally get your ailments figured out.

What have you done to test your network at home and what have you tested? Just curious... see if I can offer some suggestions to get your connectivity back.
 
That really sucks about the connectivity. On the other hand once it gets resolved the spike on your EOC graph will look really impressive.

Good luck with the MRI and hopefully there will be an answer on the "why" part soon.

Update on whats going on.....

Last checkup went "ok". The MRI was pretty worthless, only showing more of what was already known to be an issue, they just dont know why......

Im still not able to upload units to the server, I can ping just fine to it, its not my router, I tried without the router and I also tried at a different location.... Anyway.....


I am now in the middle of moving. We have just put our house on the market (after a TON of home renovations to make it sell) and are hoping to be able to sell even in this bad market. My son needs a bigger house to move around in, its just not big enough for him, or me and my wife, at all. So hopes of a new house / office!

Love yall, will update, as soon as possible.

I'd try loading a live CD of linux and see if you can dl/ul a WU while running that. I bet there is something with the OD that is funky.

Well, just when things cant get worse, they do....

My grandfather passed away yesterday at 2:30(ish)PM. Hit my dad really hard, which in turn made me break down a bit, I dont like seeing my dad hurt, and this really hurt him. I loved my Grandfather, was a pretty cool dude, I didnt take it so bad till I saw how my dad took it, so it hurt more in that sense.

Its been almost a full year since my grandmother passed away, so we kinda knew this would happen eventually, but still......

I'm sorry for your loss man. However the good thing is that both your grandparents are united together again in heaven. I lost my grandfather just months after my grandmother went, so I know how much it can hurt you and your family.

In other news, my i7 laptop showed up.... but my x6 amd and 2x 460's have yet to arrive.....

I hate waiten....


In other other news, my headaches have returned again...... dunno why and have started to hear a strange buzz type noise in my ears..... Doctor time again.

Nope, no high blood pressure, and I have a low cholestorol.... Not that that hasnt been brought up by my doctor either.... Something is screwed up with me....

On a weird note...... theres a possiblity that I may have a "parasite". Found a weird lump on my foot (no bigger than the head of an eraser) a couple days ago, disappeared the next morning..... woke up today and it was there again, itchy as sin.....

No bite marks or any entrace points at all.... so something is going on there too.

I am sorry to hear about your G-pop, and especially about the headaches again...I myself just had surgery on both sides of my head in the 4th attempt to relieve mine...

I would get your foot looked at ASAP man..that seems kinda scary...

 
Welp, had a biopsy the other day on a weird patch of skin on my foot. Found out I have a parasite.... They are unsure what type of parasite it is, the biopsy didnt exactly show the parasite, but showed traces of, not enough to get the information needed. So they are going to do another biopsy to see and find out if they can determine the type, from there, I go to anti-biotics to kill the specific type.

The doctors possibly believe (are not 100% sure) that these parasites are causing my headaches / anuerisms or not. They will know when they find out what type, and kill it, than I will undergo a few tests after to determine if they will continue or not.

Sounds like Subcutaneous Cysticercosis. I'm used to seeing evidence of cysticercosis on CT and MRI scans of the brain but not in the feet like that but I read that one can have both.

Have you been dancing with pigs or eating raw pork tamales lately?

Nah.

I'm an MRI technologist. Been in the radiology biz for 20+ years. Did CT scans and other fun stuff having to do with radiology.

I used to see that parasite once in a while when I worked in CT.

Negatory on both questions. Dont really like pork unless its in the form of some rib sticken RIBS!!!!!! lol.....

Not sure where I would have had it, I dont dance around barefoot in phecies... so Im not sure.

Welp, test results returned with "NO parasites", negative.

So, now im stuck with still wondering WTF is wrong with me than.

And ontop of that, Comcast now states (after almost a month of saying its them) that it isnt them, even though they still havent replaced the part that they said they were going to replace. Oh well, this just re-affirms that statement that Comcast is the worst company in the US at this moment.
 
I dunno, I've been having some trouble uploading WUs too, but through my university network (for GPU2 only. Classic clients upload fine). Oddly enough it was going back to my Comcast connection that let me upload the WU :-/
 
FrEaKy - just a thought regarding headaces....maybe check into this yourself.
I found out (from my wife) that I have sleep apnea; I have been snoring a lot more lately since gaining a little weight but she's also noticed I'll stop breathing temporarily while sleeping. I've heard enough from my dad (who has this) so I know that right there is sleep apnea. Anyway - SA is apparently something that can cause frequent migraines as well (if you didn't know that already/they didn't check). In my case, I may have finally found my needle in the haystack and figured out what is causing my daily headache woes.

Just something to mention, headache sufferer to another. :eek: Maybe check with your doc, see what he/she thinks, and maybe get tested for it....could be what's causing yours as well.
 
Man, sorry for your loss, really. I lost my Dad and brother to cancer, and my oldest sister is now fighting her second round with breast cancer, so I know where you're comming from.

On a lighter note, your inability to upload wu's has let me mow you. I know it won't stick, but it feels good for right now. Be gentile as you mow me over when you get to be able to upload again.
