Ok I am getting highly confused here on how PPD works. My Athlon II x4 635 gets 5235 PPD according to HFM.NET, but looking up my stats I have 6015 total points with my Pentium D folding as well. What is the issue??

Is HFM set to monitor your Pentium D as well or just the Athlon? HFM reports Points per Day for each client YOU tell it to monitor. If you aren't also monitoring your Pentium D with it, it makes sense that you have a higher actual production.

It doesn't monitor the pentium D however why I am confused is that my 6015 is total from almost 2 weeks ago.

each unit has a point value. If you complete it in a certain amount of time, you get that many points. Say it takes you 2 days to complete a 6000 point Work Unit (WU), it means you get 3000 Points Per Day (ppd).

Now, newer work units will give more points, the faster you complete them, called Time Completion Bonus. As such, the speed your computer completes a WU, will adjust the amount of points Stanford credits you for that one WU.

Something is wrong then if you've been folding for a couple weeks straight and only have 6015 points. Double check that your clients are configured properly with your username and passkey.

you havent finished your 10 WU's on your passkey yet HFM is showing the bonus by default but because you havent finished the 10 a3 WU's your just getting regular points.. once you finish them then you will start seeing the bonus points added into your stats..

Ahh yes, makes perfect sense. Completely forgot to suggest this, been gone too long.

http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=userpage&username=itsrickjamesIt shows I have 2 clients connected, and only 13 WU complete. I complete atleast 3-4 work units a day on the Athlon II x4 box. I have a unit that is about complete now that is worth 1482 according to HFM.net. I am getting alot of GRO-A3 stuff on that system. Is that good? Should I be using -bigadv? I use -smp running the 6.30 client on Windows.

You cannot run bigadv on an Athlon II X4

A3 is what you should be running on that box so yes, it is good. You may want to take a look at the log file to make sure there are finishing to 100% and the results are uploading correctly. Check to also make sure the "Failed" column in HFM.net reads 0 as well. Also, make 100% sure your passkey is entered in your client config. Without a passkey, you will not get the bonus points after 10 A3's have been sent in.

I honestly don't know what it means, but I have the -smp -advmethods flags on mine and I get decent points with both my AMD Quads.

Don't quote me on this, but I think the -advmethods flag is for geting the new A3 WU's.
Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

-advmethods tells the server to send public beta work units if available. These are WUs that have gone through closed beta testing but have not been run enough in the real world for them to be considered non-experimental. You do not need to specify -advmethods anymore to get A3 work units.

No errors and no failed units so far. It shows 9 completed and sent by this system which is odd cause it seemed like I completed more than that. I guess I will see what happens when it turns in my 10th A3.

Thanks for the clarification. I was totally unaware. I have had the -advmethods flag on mine from day one, but didn't know for sure what it was for.

There ya go then. After the 10th, so long as your passkey is configured, you will start getting bonus points come your 11th unit.

The EOC stats are more useful for determining your actual output. You're definitely not completing 3-4 work units a day successfully, so check your logs as suggested above. It looks like you're getting the bonus points as of today, though.
