it seems my 485w powersupply is showing its age. and i need to upgrade to a higher end powersupplys, heres what ive been looking at:

OCZ 520w powerstream powersupply
OCZ 600w powerstream powersupply
Enermax 600w Noisetaker powersupply
Seasonic S12-600 600W powersupply
Antec TruePower 2.0 550W ESP12V powersupply

heres my system:

1x AMD64 x2 3800+
1x Asus A8N-SLI premium
2x Evga 7800gt
2gigs OCZ PC4000 EB platinum edtion
2x 80gig seagate hard drives Sata
1x 250gigs seagate hard drive sata
2x LG dvd burners
1x audigy 2 sound card
4x 80mm fans
2x 120mm fans
1x vapochill phase change cooling unit

i plan to overclock like crazy so i need alot to power my system, especially those two 7800GT's wich will probably hooked up to watercooling in the future. im thinking the OCZ 520w powerstream, because it has a strong single 12v railing. which apparently helps overclock a little. and its not a bad price. what do you guys think?

damn.. I just bought mine yesterday (cause it was the biggest I could find locally, and needed a ps right away) for $152. Oh well.. I hope it's a decent ps since I have had about 3 enermax's before this one.. and none of them ever had any problems.. just the way I like them. :)

right now i have a 485w noisetaker, and my system is probably just as demanding as you, and i can overclock pretty decent with my system and still have ROCK solid railings all across the board. so im guessing the 600w will be plenty :)

just curious, if your system is running smoothly then why are you upgrading your power supply? or is the system shaky?

also i am surprised the 485w noisetaker can handle sli :D
