Saw this on slickdeals, good card for an HTPC. Silent, fanless. Benchmark score of 313 so don't plan on playing recent games with it, but a nice upgrade for a parents rig with integrated graphics or similar. Also edges out the onboard graphics of an i3 2100K, but worse than i5 2500K. Can use Amazon for the Asus if you want, not excluded from Asus' accepted retailers.

Asus 512MB on Newegg and on Amazon.

Powercolor 1GB on Newegg

Rebate is in the form of an Amex giftcard. I have a bunch of these piling up, how do you guys use them?

Re: Amex Giftcard

Anything you can spend american express on? Paypal yourself 20 bucks from the card, lol.

The ASUS looks tempting, slightly faster mem than the PC and for $15 it would make a nice backup card to at least keep a system running should the main card crap out.

Very tempting.... If anyone has this card, please comment on how well it performs with streaming sites at high resolutions using Flash (eg: Hulu, YouTube) and Silverlight (eg: Netflix).

PTNL check the slickdeals discussion, lots of people saying it will work fine for HTPC including HD streaming I believe.

Thanks for the link. Currently that thread talks about local file streaming, but nothing really clear about rendering Flash/Silverlight streamed videos. I'll keep an eye on the thread as it grows. And I may even pull the trigger anyways on the card; never hurts to have a backup PCIe card for $15 ;)

I got the Asus one for $11 shipped from Amazon over one year ago. Love it. Does exactly what it's supposed to, no more, no less.
