Post Your Workstations 2015

Just upgraded my Lian Li of years to a Corsair Obsidian 750D.
Loving this case and my new desk.

I have now about close to 7 months looking for the right "7.1" gaming headset with heavy Bass especially for Music and Movies....How do you rate those Sennheiser G4ME One Headset when it comes to Bass? and overall experience.

I'm sure, just by what you've said here, that you've got considerably more experience in the audiophile realm... but I love them.

I've used a fairly large number of "mainstream" gaming headsets before finally deciding to get something legitimate. Everything from a Logitech G330 up through the high end Corsair and Razer lineup (ugh...I really hate Razer.) And the Game Ones clearly better than any of those by a long shot

I believe they're based on the HD598? Could be the HD558. Maybe I'm wrong about that...

But again, I love them. I don't think I could be happier with a gaming-focused headset.

Bass specifically? I don't know. I guess I never really focused on anything other than "Yeah, that sounds great." So I'm sure it's there.

Got tired of not having enough desk space...so I made my own! :D

~$310, $180 if you don't include the cost of tools. Could make it a bit sturdier, but works for now.

Fair enough, I really appreciate the feedback:cool:

How do you avoid accidentally kicking the stuff under the table?
Additionally,

How do you avoid kicking or steeping on the L channel the way you have that set up. And why do you have a blanket? on the top the case like that???

- The stuff under the desk is a good 1.5 to 2ft back from the front of the desk (the desk is 3ft deep), so normally out of reach of my feet (though I am tempted to use it as a foot-rest now and then). I usually sit with my legs folded in front of/under me on the chair anyway.
- The blanket is actually a laptop sleeve, with a laptop inside (unless you were talking about what's on top of that--that's my headphones, in the bag they came in), because I don't have anywhere better to put it. There's plenty of room for air to go out the sides/back and no exhaust fans, and the speed of the fans in the front is fairly slow, so I think it actually helps keep the case cooler (though I haven't measured).
- The bottom L-channel is the same depth as the top, so I'd almost have to hit the desk with my hip in order to kick it, plus it's not in a place where I'd usually walk diagonally in relation to the desk.

This is a pretty sweet rig!!! Love the color scheme.

I've been using the same setup for several years and I finally got around to revamping it, pretty much all of it. New comps (x2), new displays (x3), new desk. Built the desk myself since I couldn't find anything I liked. New desk is 3ft longer and 1ft deeper than my old desk (8'x3'), it's so nice to have space.

Nice desk. I thought about using round tube/pipe for mine, but couldn't think of a way to attach the desk top to the tube. Forgot flanges existed. XD

Almost done. Need some small trim pieces and some LED lighting. The back cover is in place. There is a 5" gap between the back piece and the back of the upper hutch. This allows for cable management, and easy access to the power bricks that are mounted on the back side. The unit has 2" of clearance on all sides to allow easy cable access.

Future plans call for 2 more 32" displays flanking the center display on top. The outer displays will be on tilting and extending arms to allow them to tilt at an angle in towards the user. They will sit over the top of the Dayton B652's on each side when tilted outwards.

I am also planning on putting a rack mount setup in the upper portion and building a secondary shelf setup with a 19" rackmount to mount my future server and will hold the case that is now sitting under the desk.

The smaller display on the top will be moved to the future server rack as it's currently now devoted to the dev server. The upper cross shelf is not crooked, the TV is. I bumped it while moving it around.

My setup, nothing too fancy. I saw the movie posters on a previous post and really liked them so I ordered a couple from the artist. I have a few other framed posters around the room as well.

Sweet, now I want to make my own desk. What's the name of the rightmost character?
