Just curious, why are there two keyboards? I never understood the use/need for more than one keyboard or mouse. Is one for gaming and the other for just daily use?
 
I think it was just setup that way for flash. Why would you not use a KVM if you are going to be using the same monitor. And if you're not, why would you have the keyboard so far form the other 2 monitors that look like they are not hooked up to anything.
 
Here is my spot. I need to clean it up a little, do laundry. Mine is the monitor, PC with Raspberry Pi on top, and all the way to the router. That is all mine.

He's colour-coded the keyboards and mice. A KVM is added expense and all he has to do is switch the input on the monitor.
 
A simple KVM in my mind is cheaper than a fancy keyboard and mouse. Plus it saves on desktop space (Real desktop you nerds and your PDFs)
 
There are 2 keyboards because I use the blackwidow mechanical if I'm typing out something long among other other things and the deathstalker if I'm gaming (though with a select few games I also use the blackwidow)

So why 2 keyboards? Because I prefer mechanical for certain things and chiclet for others
 
The 2nd PC was just put together like a week and a half ago and isn't even hooked up...I mainly built it for girl to play WoW on (and to just not go on mine)

Tuna where? If you mean the can, that is an empty snus can. I collect those things for projects or containers for keeping my earrings in and change. Curcuit board to a flash drive is in one too :p Plus for the money I am not complaining. >.>

Thanks! I need to pick up one more sleeved extension for the second 8 pin of the classy, and MAYBE sleeve all the cables on the psu side to tone down the color distraction back there. I might even just order a custom total kit for simplicity/time's sake.

I noticed you're a FT02'er yourself, mind if I ask you something? I haven't put the rest of my drives ino the case yet (2TB WD Black x2) cause im debating on whether i should buy two more CP05-SAS connectors. Do you think its worth it for the sake of future hot swapping ease?
 
Do it. You can always change your mind and modify things later. Your FT02 will swallow those two drives.

What, you don't see the media center/server ? Well yes, for now, the server in it is just "thrown in", the final, correct installation is yet to be done (my brother needs to prepare some stuff so he can mount a motherboard plate, hard drive mounting systems and PSU holder on the drawer. For now, i just put the stuff on some polystyrene so it won't scratch the drawer, but final setup will be very similar, just a bit more 'professional', and in the same place :

The other cabinet houses an UPS, cable modem and a switch.

Thanks for the heads-up. Fixed, i used some plain cardboard instead. And to be honest, i won't touch that server until the real thing is done, so no static electricity from me, unless the air gets charged that much. And in worst case scenario, at least i have a reason to upgrade from that Ivy Bridge motherboard i hate (for sharing one PCI-E lane with the extra SATA3 controller :D).
 
The sad thing about ESD is that it doesn't instantly kill electronics sometimes but degrade them over a period of use. I didn't even realise the polystyrene until the 2 posters above me mentioned it.

As said, in worst case scenario i will have a reason to upgrade :D. And if ESD kills something, it will be the first thing to go in my life due ESD.
