I think it might have something to do with the angle and also the fact that it's sitting next to a Shuttle. ;) :p
 
like you people said, it does look bigger than 15", i stil swear that it is bigger than my 17" crt was, even tho it had a screen size of 16".

I love that about LCD's, I can't wait to eventually get ahold of a decent 17 inch. Especially if I go back to another Shuttle, talk about easy lanning. :D

Anyway, the picture is fine for me....... and now a days i don't think you should have to loose 75% quality, or resize it to a 100x100 size picture just to accomidate for the slowest of people. He's fine as-is, and so is every else who post huge pics. That's my opinion.

500 kilobits does not equate to 500 kiloBytes. In fact 500 kb/s is about 1/7th of 500 kB/s...

What are you talking about??? We're not comparing bits and bytes.....we WERE talking about bytes to bytes. There's nothing wrong with his pic size.....my net was just acting up.....and we never mentioned anything else.

I don't know what you're smoking but I think it's time to lay off. ;)

He's right and you don't need to make a story out of it. Just don't be lazy and type kB instead of kb next time to avoid any missinformation.

dewhite: about 1/7th ? :p ok, that was funny though... didn't know that 1B != 8b sometimes ;)

Nice mouse and keyboard. If there's one thing microsoft makes that's any good for the price, its their keyboard and mouse.

Hehe, My school has quite a few of those NEC moniters, there pretty good for a 17".

Also, is that just an optical illusion? or is your desk actually collapsing in about 4 inches due to the weight of 2 mointers? If so, who made your desk............
 
yeah, the desk is flexing a little. that nec is actually a 22" monitor and the one next to it is a 17" viewsonic :) the 22" weighs like 80 pounds. the desk was like $79 at staples, i dont know what the brand on it is, but i could not pass it up for that price

Looks like a Samsung Syncmaster 152X to me.
 
its the top part of the same one showing under the keyboard. an antec or antecish case.
