untill we get to like, 1000's of pages, i don't think its crowded.......... and i don't like the idea of making a page per year........ i like it crowded also!
 
I prefer to see how long these get.. Also, we didnt need ANOTHER one, Ozziegn posted another workstation thread that got stickied......

Guess ppl dont look at the4 stickied stuff....

As for me, once I get everything cleaned up, I will once again take pics, as things have changed yet again. :)

DSL modem is by EWIRE, DSL at 30 bucks per month by SBC
Router is a Siemens Speedstream Broadband wireless router, was giving me problems until I updated the firmware
Mouse is a 4 with scroll button microsoft mouse
2.1 Sound is by Harmon Kardon (a dell deal)
Printer is a old HP


I really hate this setup as its in the middle of the house, noisy, tvs always on, family is talking/bothering me. Its a terrible place to sit down and work. I am going to build a new PC and hand this off to my brother though. I will build a custom desk, nice chair, etc...

Its also extremely messy right now... probaly because I just reinstalled everything and am ripping all my cds and have my homework books out
 
stupid dell. My school has a few "Black" dells, and they look like crap to me. So cheaply made in some aspects.

The blue dell's are "ok", but really................ dell has become a companie for the old grannies and parents who don't know what (according to dell) "a giga this, and a mega that" is.............. LOL@the ignorant.
 
exactly..

The quality of the case sucks compared to the money we spend on the setup with a 17" crt ($2500, for my computer, 2200 for my moms)

what a waste of money, my god. makes my sick. to think of what you could have put together for that kind of money. no wonder the ceo of dell is one of the worlds richest people. :rolleyes:

I bought my computer when the 2.0s were the hottest things on the market.

My mom had a bunch of software with hers.

Plus a 3yr warranty on both.

So not that bad of a rip, but definately will not buy from Dell again now that I know what I'm doin.

what's that thing above the audigy pro? Looks like something for audio........ but not sure what..

p.s., how our those head phones? ive seen alot of people from [H]ard that have them.

That would be the control console for the Klipsch speakers

hey Thaddy, how are the Promedia's??? It's amazing you've got any room to put your feet with that monster sub box down there. Maybe if I could afford it I would have gone with some 5.1 Klipsch but my Z-560's serve me well enough. I like my music but I'm not an audiophile. Maybe if I had better ears and could pick up some of these little things in speakers I'd care but.............. ;)

Yeah, im 16 but my parents refuse POINTBLANK to get me anything related to computers. So, as it is my main interest... i had to work pretty hard to get my 160gig harddrive.

Dont get too dependent :p

right on dude - ok, i'll post in about a week, because my uncle is sending me a free PIII pc from his work and i'm going to build off of my desk, and put Fedora Core 1 on that PC and have dual monitors - look forward to it :D
