and a whole lot to the right

Thanks yenniedn.

For dust, I also use a Swiffer duster. And to keep more dust out of your system, raise it off that floor. Carpets are dust magnets.

It's funny how many people take the time to posts photos without even previewing their post before or afterwards.

As requested before, please resize.

Sidenote: Love the Feet

Lol, yeah a resize would be appreciated since with my small monitor, all I see are the feet.

Upgrade due this spring - new larger monitor and completely new set up including i7 980x and crossfire 5870's in a coolermaster 840 :). Yes the cables will eventually be tidied then :p

"Frank" get's upgraded - AGAIN

Well I initially posted Frank and he did not have the 4th GPU water blocked or the Mofset and NB/SB water blocked. I was also running Mushkin Blackline PC1600 RAM. Now I have them all water blocked and changed out the Mushkin Redline PC2000 DDR3. I have also added two Mushkin 64GB SSD's in RAID 0 as the boot drives, leaving the 300GB WD VelociRaptors in RAID 0 for programs.

I decided to split the loop for the CPU into 3 runs that bring the liquid directly into each water block (CPU, NB/SB, & Mofset), then out it goes back into one tube. This was opposed to running the tubing into the CPU, then the Mofset, then the NB/SB - I felt it was best to try and run the cooled water directly into each block then back into one that feeds the radiator giving al the water blocks a better chance at cooler liquid entering them. It seems to have worked fine, though it also seems to be a lot of tubing in that case now.

Still waiting for fan controllers that will allow me to manage the 10 fans I have on the radiators. Once they arrive (and I hope they work), this build should finally be done - then it's OC time. Currently only running stock speeds with dreams to OC and see what Frank can be pushed to.

I did get the 8-Pin CPU power cables and 24-pin Motherboard powert cables sheathed and blacked out so you may not see them in the pictures unless you look - which was the whole idea.

All temps now sit around 34c - for everything (CPU, GPU, Mofset, NB/SB)
Temps after an hour of Crysis (1920x1080, 16xQ AA, Maxed Everything, 45FPS+) 45-48c on everything

Anyway I can get that wallpaper on the big monitor? Thanks!

Not to be a d*ck or anything but its "Post your workstation" not your rig (which is sweet looking btw)

This was in continuance of a previous post - where I did post my workstation & PC. Considering the "Workstation" didn't change, but the PC did, I posted the updates. I hope that clarifies things for you.

Here is my "Workstation" if it helps & thx for the compliment on the PC, it is a build that will never end it seems.

Badcap - that looks like bookshelf speakers hooked up to a Logitech 5500 control pod, is that what's going on there? If so, how does it sound?

Ah, it's a stereo source split from my auzen x-plosion; one goes into the z-5500 for sub only, and the other goes into a JVC 2.0 bookshelf system. The JVC speakers are actually bi-amped, so it wouldn't be safe to hook it into a z-5500 as I understand it.

It sounds pretty acceptable once you have the sub port stuffed to reduce the boom; those speakers have 3.25" woofers so they get thin around 80-100hz, but they're actually quite nice and warm sounding. Reasonably flat but lacking some clarity in the 4-8Khz range.

My workstation in my basement. I know the pics suck I took them with my phone.

I Keep the computer behind the desk, I like the clean uncluutterd look. I know alot of you think this case is ugly but I have a strange thing for small cases and the design saves space, no one can see it anyway.

This was a budget AMD build ,Gigabyte 790XT-UD4P, X4 620 3.7GHz 1.4v, CM N520, Crossfired 4830's, 4GB DDR3 (was a alot cheaper when I bought it last year), Antec EA650 in a GMC R2 case $40.

I keep my i7 rig in my bedroom, I don't want the kids messing with it.

Your setup is really clean and your build is absolutely sick dude

I wish we had basements here (Florida.) That's a nice setup you have there.

i never understood how or why the people that are "into" or "know" about computers still use limewire?
there are so many better ways to dl songs or albums.
you also take the risk of infecting your computer with some kinda bug.

If I don't feel like downloading a whole album or something like that, I'll use limewire from time to time. I've used it for around 5 years now and never once got an infection from it. As long as you know what you're doing and don't just download random shit, it's not bad really.

*Takes off glasses
Mother of God....

LMAO- Yeah I even say the same thing each morning when I come into the office to fire this baby up - the "newness" hasn't worn off and I still look at it saying "OMG (takes off glasses) I really did build this beast" - thanks for the response

Again thx for the comment - "Frank" was one heck of a build. What started out as a budget water cooling build turned into an extreme water cooling build that just continued to expand. In the end it was well worth it though.

Your setup is really clean and your build is absolutely sick dude

Thanks man, I love the speed this baby gives me now with the RAID 0 Mushkin 64GB SSD's as boot drives and the RAID 0 300GB VelociRaptors for programs - it simply flies. I worked hard to make it clean and wireless as possible, including the blacked out dual 8-pin CPU power cables and the 24-pin blacked out power cables. The GPU cables will have to wait until I can sleeve them as they are the only things left that are glaring in your face wires. Otherwise the case is pretty full for a full tower and I am pretty happy with the look of the GPU loops for all 4 GTX 285's. I know it would have been more efficient to use the SLI connector ends for those waterblocks - but it wouldnt look so good either :D Something about those chrome loops makes me thing "High performance" and yeat the cards still sit around 35 idel and 45 under load - so it still serves a puropse as well as looking good.

Now it's overclocking time once the fan controllers come in...............

What kind of stand is that netbook sitting on? Does it have cooling built in?

Its actually just a massive 9 cell battery... lol

Its lifts it up in the back just like a stand would.

Here is a better picture of my setup. I don't like that first pic.

*snip*

Hahaha. That's an excellent bonus... :D They should list it in the battery's features!

Your WS looks nice and clean; comfortable to sit at.
