Pixel wise, of course 9MP and 12MP will beat the cell phone. And of course I do know that quality>pixel. But trust me, a tiny cell phone sensor cannot beat a digital camera sensor (regardless of type, even point-and-shoots), in broad daylight, the difference might not be that noticable. In darker places, the noice performance will be degraded by A LOT. Plus, the color and sharpness produced by the cell phone's pinhole lens cannot be compared against a bigger, better glass lens.

I own and shoot with a Canon 30D.

There needs to be a sticky for forum etiquette or place for the [H]ard Forum Rules at the top instead of bottom...this is ridiculous those pictures were like half the size of my entire desk lol

The Sandman2236---> I was thinking of building a pc exactly like the one you just replaced, but was thinking of an iMac too. How do you like the new system compared to the old?

Haha... no shit. My monitors are 2048x1152 and I had to double-scroll.

Speaking of... I suppose I should take some pics of my desk... but it is a hideous mess so I'm embarassed :D

I love it -- I mean I miss my PC, but now I have the best of both worlds!

Hi everyone, while trying to find some ideas for my computer room setup, I came across this site.
So here is my original setup. It used to be a built in wardrobe with sliding doors. Which i removed and installed a top in between the two shelving units and built the monitor into the wall.

Here's my new setup for 2010.
Everything was removed and I installed 2 new boxes for both my desktop computers. To which I put a nice new benchtop onto. With another little benchtop on the side for resting on ( i get lazy).
Over the next few weeks I'll be building up shelves and a false wall to mount the monitors too and hide all the cables again.
Anyone have any ideas for shelving etc I should put on top of the benchtops??
Flash on...to show everything. Yes I do have better chairs, but haven't bothered to bring it in yet.
