This looks really awesome. I didn't know you could get this style of desk for so cheap.

Can't wait to get one for myself!

The Samsung wasn't a 245. It was the 225BW. It was pretty good when I got it. Major step up from the 19-inch CRT I had at the time. The Asus is larger (25.5 inches vs 22), and it has more inputs, but it doesn't have height or swivel adjustment. It doesn't have as much backlight bleed as the Samsung at the top, but the black is still more of a dark grey than true black. I still like it, though.

    Hi All,

Thanks everyone for posting pics. Lots of good ideas to be found here. Here's my current workstation in my room and what I got setup in the living room. I do some work there too ;)

I actually am planning major changes around my desk space so I will posted updated pics soon. First post (I don't frequent many threads so go easy).

Desk is a mikael from Ikea (recently discontinued).

dual 23's at the desk and a 55 in the living room. I am waiting on a 27 though with an ergotron arm and will use that in conjunction with a 46in samsung display...will post updated pics when all this comes together in a week or so.

+rep for the LACK stand from IKEA. I loved mine but the wife forced me to change out to a much less functional (and modern) looking piece. Love your setup.

That's the Lane Executive Tech Chair. Got it on clearance from Staples. Not on their website anymore, so you'll have to go in to see if they've got any left.

you can't see it much in the photo but cable management is non existent at the moment. i'm building a new desktop (first one in over 5 years) soon, so I'm not even going to bother with it until then.

It's a desk made by Cubit. I had never heard of them before I got this, though. Dimensions are 1.8m wide, 0.8m deep, 0.73m high. Absolutely happy with it and paid $45 for it. A local company was selling a lot of their stuff cheaply so I snagged this and the drawer :D

Went googling for "cubit desk" -- got a whole bunch of NZ links ... then checked your profile -- you're from down under as well ;)

I guess I'll go back to salivating over Bestar2Go desks ;)

Make it a unique window design. That will make it stand out from the rest.

I Finally got my cousin to sit and watch all of Farscape.. Decided the stuff I downloaded 6 years ago wasn't good enough. AC3 Pass-Through encodes for the win.

Thanks. I bought some rope light about 2 months ago and it is more of an ocean blue. Im looking for something that is more of a royal blue... like in the picture. Not sure if it is a difference between incandecent and LED but I dont want to spend the money and find out thats not the case. Any suggestions?
