How do you like that Smilodon case? I came 2 clicks away from buying one before I settled on my Ultra Gladiator. Is it roomy inside?

I like the Smilodon very much, except that it's a difficult case to do any fancy cable work in. As far as assembly and use it's very accesible and easy to install and remove components.:cool:
 
Yeah, the Ultra case I settled on is a pain for cable management too. Also, the screw-less design for card slots in it is so terrible I ended up taking it out and using screws. I might get the smilodon after a while when I get tired of this one. Probably should have before :p.

I don't think it works right though... every time I try to light a smoke with it, it just blows the end off my cigarette and makes a hole in the ceiling.

Ivan_Only: nice setup. i like the speakers. what's the company name and model number? and for how much ?
 
Unfortunately I do not have room for the Sub yet. I am running 4.1 with a older pair of Yamaha bookshelfs.

I use SPDIF Coaxial from my sound card to a Sony Receiver. After I move in June I plan on getting a Onyko receiver that does HDMI+Audio switching, a Polk Sub and another set of Monitor 40's for the rear.

Yeah, it is a lot of weight but as you may notice, it's concentrated right over the legs and not much in the center area...

They are some ancient no-name brand speakers that I just love. It shows "EP-120" on one speaker and "Multi-Media Amplified Speaker System" on the other but that's all. Frankly, I'm thinking they're at least 15 years old...

Oh yea! No late-model tower is more structurally stout than the XPS 700 series! It's a real shame they built them with ITX form factor...

The lighting in my basement sucks. Only two bulbs, both are CFL.

The rig at the right is my backup computer for which is not working at the moment. Had to replace the PSU, so I'm waiting getting a new one. I got a new 20" LCD (next to the CRT). Looks great and only paid $85 after cashback. :)

Hey Pao - long time, buddy - how's it going? I just moved everything over to a FT02 case and it's still messy. Hope to get photos up within the week.
