In the back of behind scenes u may apply sticker in the color
of the wood .It comes in variety of colors and u apply it with hot iron.;)
This way the furniture look just like in the front( u dont see the cut edges).
 
^^ That is correct. What you are refering too is edgebanding to hide the particle board edges of the panels. However this is a process that is best done prior to assembly and trying to apply edgebanding with an iron at this point would be extremly difficult and the result might not be worth the effort. In this case it "behind the scenes" and no one will see this area (unless you post on [H]).

Yea that process must be done in the first place (in second look i notice the wires behind).

Yeah it's my old cat "Black Elvis" I had him stuffed when he passed away and keep him there where he always used to sit. The marbles for eyes he has now really make a crazy glare.

Nothing amazing but I just got shunted out of my old hole after we moved the front room round so this is where I am for now.
 
Figured I could ask this here and hopefully get some advice. I am looking at making a new computer desk using a piece of kitchen countertop that I came by. My question is what is the best way to support each end of it and the middle. The countertop is going to be approx. 9ft. long. I know I could use file cabinets for supports, but trying to find file cabinets at a decent price tall enough and long enough is a pain. I was originally going to use cabinet bases for the ends but I am leary at cutting them off at the bottom due to messing them up ( I am not the handiest person in the world :cool:)

So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as to what I could use for the end supports and middle. Also I forgot to mention I can not go the full 2ft. deep due to an air vent being right in the middle on the wall where this must go.
 
4x4 for the legs have 6 of these 1ethier end and 2 in the middles
1x3 fastern to the legs to make a frame and then put the worktop on top of that ill try to find a photo from some were

that a single desk length but can be adapted to be bigger

build to of these one ethier side of the vent and then sit the worktop on top
i have something like this but out of old flat pack wardrobe lol

And they're not that bright at live :)

Good to see a fellow Fractal Design case owner. I don't think I'd be able to sit in the dark with that lime green cathode under my desk though :p

Yes, very good case and im happy with it. So those cathodes aren't in last position and thats not "last version"

I'm going to post new picture when i get longer cables for those, and those cathodes are supposed to be like glowing there, not that bright etc..
 
Another fractal owner here, will post pics up once ive finished tidying up :D Just rebuilt my pc, and theres stuff everywhere. And fingerprints all over the case :(
