For me it seems to be. The nice thing, it has a slider for performance vs quality. Things are pretty much immediate on both the main rig and htpc in my sig using rocketdock.
 
I've always preferred RK Launcher which supports objectdock and yzdock stuff.

86DRIFTER: You don't need vista for the stuff we use. Aero of course is a vista thing, but the rest of our apps (widgets, sidebar, docks, etc) are all compatible with xp.

MrWizard6600... I don't think there's hardware monitoring gadgets like that for sidebar, but there are some really nice ones around the web.

illuminate... yeah, I decided I needed to try out some new styles of icons.

Modred189... I really like the green, though I usually do red for trash full... and I like the little dot in the center of the A, it just seemed appropriate.

He changed the visual style to Area o4 (or o4.2, can never tell), dock with the matching icons. Looks like a vista-esque system icon set, and a winamp skin I'm not familiar with.

Haha... The other day she was at my house and my roommate and I were blowing shit up and starting fires... we called it roommate bonding time...

She just got done having a 6 hour random conversation with her roommate, so she compared what my roommate and I did the other night to their talk.

Updates. Changed Dock Icons, and swapped out the system meters, and my wallpaper is of course Ms. Megan Fox herself.

i'll hopefully help ya out instead bud...

To get your media player to display album art, you need to install CAD 2.0 Beta 5 .. i feel it works best with winamp as you can hide all the windows and just to view your album art.. there are many different skins found here..

Now for the CPU/RAM/HDD info.. they are created by Yahoo's Neon Gauges.. simply install yahoo widgets and your all set... you have alot of freedom to play are with the settings ie colours, shapes and input
