I haven't been in college since 2002 (only did 1 semester). But it was at Tulane University in New Orleans... there are less fun places to go to school ;)

Here a few pics of my setup from back then.

I wish I could take credit for the wire management.. but I can owe that one to my obsessive compulsive friend ;)

From BFG. I sent em an email explaining that I had an empty dorm room and a picture of all the BFG stuff I'd bought over the years. I was hoping for a mousepad. Instead, this bazooka sized tube comes in the mail with the poster in it. I was impressed.

When I started college, I drug along my mother's PacHell P120 with 32MB. Let's just say I've been in college a long, long time.

Bump for the new semester!
Ah, glad someone remembered this one.
I'll be moving back to school in a few weeks, so expect some claustrophobic pictures soon enough.

Same here, moving to apartments mid sept, so I'll post my pics then.

I'm going to start moving my stuff into my apartment this friday and will actually move in the following sunday so I'll be sure to post my setup once the room is presenatable

I'm moving into my off campus apartment Saturday, I just got back from Ikea a few minutes ago with a new desk and a $9 folding chair for , will post pics once I move in.

Edited to make the select few happy. :). The only reason I posted was because a few above me said "I'm in an apartment now, I will post pics later"

My wife and I are both in college. ;)

I could be very mistaken if the above post is classified as Post Your College Setup but I really doubt it.

if he's still in college it counts. It doesnt have to be a dorm room for a college setup.

I'm 28, married and have 3 kids but going back to school. My home office is used for school work. I'll grab some pics when I get off work :)

Moved back into the dorms yesterday. Compared to last semester, the room's a lot nicer (even if smaller) as is the building itself (a coed house on sorority hill surrounded by girls only housing :D).

Only problem is... the desk is attatched to the wall!

This forced me to have to run my wires out the front of the desk. =(

This morning I woke up to find the desk covered in ants. THIS IS WHY I HATE PEPPERMINTS! DAMN YOU, SONICS!
IMG_0403_small.jpg

In the case, outside of the case, no matter what, I'm doomed to live with messy wiring.

best part about this thread was seeing 2 other dorm rooms from UMASS! score!
Oh? Are you still in a Umass dorm? (which if I may ask?).
I think 2 of my pictures should still be up from my 2 umass dorms.

I lived in 2 of the towers before moving to brown and then cashin in Sylvan, but i have since graduated. I live in Worcester (hour away from UMASS) and do grad work at WPI along with working for a big hardware/software company during the day. putting that Comp Sci degree to good use~

Its called 'borrow a drill'.....or for more man points, hammer + screwdriver.
All you need is a hole to run cables through. Preferibly one that you can put back and glue in place before you move out.*cough*

lol I don't have the testicular forititude to risk such a thing, besides, doubt I'd get away with it without anyone hearing me at work. Instead i got an extention cord for my surge protector and ran it under the desk, cutting the cord clutter by 25%. aint great, but it works.

Just crank the volume on your computer at the top with some Metal playing while you do the drilling.

Can anyone tell me where the heck the summer went? And I might post a pic later, once I redo my room, though my workstation and college setup is the same ;)

I move in next weekend. I can't wait! I get my own room this year, though it is smaller than the room I shared last time.

I'm moving into an apartment with my roommate from last year - 2bed, two bath, walk in closets, two blocks from campus, fully furnished and all bills paid. I move in this weekend :D

Should be awesome.
