Possible to run a Duron fanless?

I've been looking for a socket 370 micro ATX motherboard that has options to both underclock and undervolte to make it easier to run the CPU fanless. Based on the reseach I've done, the Tualatin Pentium III and Celeron are the best CPUs for silent PCs. When browsing through the SilentPCReview forums, there was much discussion about how undervolting the CPU plays a significant role in making the CPU run much cooler. I had planned on getting a socket 370 micro ATX mothrboard and a Tualatin Pentium III with a 133MHz FSB and underclocking the FSB to 100MHz so the CPU internal clock would run slower and I would have a much easier time passively cooling the CPU. However, undervolting in addition to underclocking is also very important to achieve this. When reading the SilentPCReview forums under a thread about undervoltable motherboards, there were many stating that most motherboards don't give options to undervolt. There was a list of known undervoltable motherboards and there were only two socket 370 motherboards on the list, and both of them were full ATX which is not what I want. There were a lot more AMD based boards that have undervolting based options, so that may be my only choice. So, if there are no undervoltable micro ATX socket 370 motherboards, could I run a Duron say 1.4GHz underclocked to 700MHz and undervolted fanless while keeping it cool enough? Or do any of you know of any socket 370 micro ATX motherboards that allow undervolting in addition to underclocking?

If you can get something like a Duron 1.4 to run at half speed, then you probably could run it fanless.

May I suggest you look at one of the VIA C3 processors. Most of them will run fanless anyway. You didn't say what you were wanting this for, but it sounds like the VIA's would work well if you don't need a lot of power. Plus in most cases a 1 Ghz C3 would probably run as well and in some cases better than a Duron/PIII/Celeron at 700.
